Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre USB-C Audio Interface
The Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre is a premium USB-C audio interface built for professional recording studios. It delivers exceptional sound quality, flexible connectivity, and room to expand as your studio grows. Whether you’re recording musicians, bands, or podcasts, the Clarett+ 8Pre provides the performance needed for high-quality audio production.
The interface features eight high-performance Clarett microphone preamps. Each preamp includes Focusrite’s all-analogue Air mode with impedance switching. This recreates the classic sound of the renowned ISA microphone preamps, adding extra clarity, presence, and openness to vocals, guitars, drums, and acoustic instruments.
High-quality 24-bit/192 kHz converters deliver ultra-low distortion and an impressive dynamic range of up to 124 dB. As a result, every recording is captured with outstanding accuracy and detail. Two high-impedance JFET instrument inputs also preserve the natural tone and feel of guitars and basses, providing an authentic amplifier-like response.
The Clarett+ 8Pre includes eight analogue inputs and ten balanced outputs. It also offers eight channels of ADAT expansion, making it easy to connect additional microphone preamps when your recording needs increase. Two powerful headphone outputs provide accurate monitoring for both performers and engineers.
USB-C connectivity ensures simple compatibility with macOS, Windows, and iPadOS. In addition, the Clarett+ 8Pre comes with a comprehensive software bundle. This includes Ableton Live Lite, Pro Tools Intro+, and the Focusrite Hitmaker Expansion. Users also receive creative tools from Antares, Brainworx, Softube, LANDR, XLN Audio, Relab, and more.
