The DB9009-TX is a second-generation, multi-protocol Audio over IP Encoder, designed for both novice and professional broadcasters. It efficiently transmits compressed audio signals over IP networks to one or more compatible IP Audio players or decoders.
Audio encoding is performed in real time using HE-AAC Versions 1 and 2 or MPEG-1 Layer 3, with optional lossless uncompressed PCM streams, ensuring high-quality, long-distance transmission without any degradation.
Once the audio source is selected, the DB9009-TX instantly encodes and sends the audio to the network. The device can function simultaneously as an Icecast-compatible Server, Icecast source client, or Real-Time Protocol (RTP) sender.
With its user-friendly operation, the DB9009-TX guarantees long-term reliability and effortless firmware updates, available both on-site and remotely via the secure, password-protected web interface.
