The DB9000-TX is a versatile Audio over IP encoder that supports both analogue and digital audio. It compresses signals in real-time using HE-AAC or MPEG-1 Layer 3 encoding, transmitting them via TCP/IP networks to one or more decoders. For lossless audio transmission, the DB9000-TX also supports uncompressed PCM streams.
This unit can function as an Icecast-compatible server, an Icecast source client, or a Real-Time Protocol (RTP) sender. Through its RS-232 port, the DB9000-TX can be converted from Ethernet to a serial redirector, enabling remote control of other devices over the Internet. The DB9000-TX allows seamless integration of existing audio systems with the Internet, offering easy management via a standard web browser. It also supports UPnP for quick connection through local area networks and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
