The Tieline Bridge-IT II is a professional IP audio codec designed for reliable broadcast audio over IP networks. It provides high-quality stereo or dual-mono audio links between studios, transmitters, remote broadcast locations, and other facilities using LAN, WAN or internet connections.
Built on a robust DSP platform, the Tieline Bridge-IT II supports analog, AES3 digital and AoIP audio interfaces, along with a wide range of broadcast codecs such as AAC, Opus, MPEG and aptX Enhanced. The unit can stream audio point-to-point or distribute audio using multi-unicast or multicast connections, making it suitable for studio-to-transmitter links (STL), studio-to-studio links and remote broadcasts.
For reliability, the codec includes technologies such as SmartStream PLUS redundant IP streaming, Fuse-IP data aggregation, automatic failover to backup connections, and advanced error correction to maintain stable audio over variable networks. It also integrates easily into modern broadcast infrastructure with native support for AES67, ST 2110-30, Livewire+ and RAVENNA AoIP standards, and can be monitored or configured locally via its front panel or remotely using a web interface or cloud management tools.
