The SmartGen Micro offers an outstanding price-to-performance ratio. This compact unit is capable of transmitting essential RDS information, including decoder details and music/speech flags. Despite its small size, it provides valuable features such as PS and radio text scrolling, fully digital RDS signal synthesis, and two operational modes—Loop-through and Side-chain.
To simplify the process of getting RDS on-air quickly, the SmartGen Micro includes a user-friendly Windows® interface on the provided CD-ROM (also available on our website). The interface allows easy configuration of static IDs and flags, dynamic messaging fields, and other parameters that control how data appears on the radio. The SmartGen Micro identifies your station by format, displays its street name, and continuously broadcasts your station’s promo or advertising message.
