DEVA DB94 SFN MPX over IP Decoder
The DEVA DB94 SFN is a compact, high-performance MPX over IP decoder designed for professional FM broadcasting and Single Frequency Network (SFN) applications. It delivers reliable MPX distribution while maintaining excellent audio quality over IP networks.
The DEVA DB94 SFN uses Thimeo’s MicroMPX (µMPX) algorithm to transport complete FM multiplex signals with full stereo and RDS integrity. It operates on network bandwidths from as low as 320 kbps, making it an ideal solution for narrowband connections and public IP networks.
Built-in GPS synchronisation provides the precise timing required for Single Frequency Network operation. As a result, multiple transmitter sites remain phase-synchronised, helping to deliver seamless coverage while reducing interference between transmitters.
The DEVA DB94 SFN is simple to configure and monitor. Front-panel LED indicators provide clear system status, while the intuitive HTML5 web interface allows remote access from a PC, tablet, or smartphone. In addition, support for HTTPS, FTP, NMS, and SNMP enables flexible remote management and network monitoring.
Digital AES192 and analogue MPX outputs ensure compatibility with both modern and existing broadcast equipment. This makes the DEVA DB94 SFN a reliable, future-ready, and cost-effective solution for FM broadcast networks.
