The DB9009-RX is a second-generation Advanced IP Audio Decoder, delivering high-quality audio over public IP networks, even in environments behind NATs and firewalls. It ensures consistent, uninterrupted sound despite fluctuating network conditions, all without requiring user intervention.
Supporting HE-AAC versions 1 and 2, MPEG-1 Layer 3 compressed audio streams, and lossless uncompressed PCM, the powerful DSP processor ensures top performance without compromise. The DB9009-RX is ideal for a range of professional applications, including Broadcast, Internet Radio, Studio-to-Transmitter Links, and VoIP.
The DB9009-RX also supports multiple backup sources. In the event of audio loss, it will automatically switch between sources (IP Audio Client, RTP, MP3 Player) and revert to the main source once the audio is restored, all without user action. The current audio source can also be manually selected via one of the General Purpose Inputs.
For an additional fee, the DB9009-RX is available with an optional fully digital, DSP-based Stereo & RDS Encoder Module.
