The DB8000 Silence Monitor is designed to address the common issue of dead air. In the event of audio loss, the unit automatically detects silence and switches to the AUX input or the built-in MP3 audio backup player. Users can upload audio files and playlists to the device via any FTP client. Additionally, the internal bass and treble control module allows for advanced audio adjustments of the MP3 backup.
Equipped with DTMF remote control features, the DB8000 allows you to change the audio source or start any playlist from the built-in MP3 player using a 3-digit DTMF tone combination. This feature makes it ideal for local content management or regional advertisement insertion.
Furthermore, the DB8000 can send email notifications whenever there is a change in the input signal source. These emails, sent to a predefined recipient, include a brief message indicating the source change: Main, AUX, or Backup.
