With local (RS232, USB) and remote (TCP/IP, UDP/IP) interfaces, SmartGen 6 allows seamless integration with the station’s other functions, including digital radio and Webcasting message streams. The unit features two separate outputs: one for RDS+MPX and one for RDS only. For highly accurate time synchronisation, it supports SNTP and includes a built-in GPS module.
A standout feature of SmartGen 6 is its SNMP agent software, which provides SNMP-based reporting to one or more administrative computers. It supports SNMPv2C and offers SNMP traps or email notifications for user-defined alerts.
