The DB4005 is a third-generation digital FM Radio modulation analyser and monitoring receiver that sets a new standard for accuracy and versatility. This advanced monitoring system enables easy and reliable tracking of up to 50 FM radio stations. With TCP/IP and optional GSM connectivity, the DB4005 combines proven functionalities with important enhancements, making it a powerful tool for any broadcast setup.
The FM signal is demodulated and digitized by the SDR FM tuner, with all signal processing handled by advanced DSP algorithms. The DB4005 delivers detailed readings of all FM multiplex signal components, refreshing all measurements simultaneously for real-time analysis. A notable feature is the MPX input, which allows monitoring of external composite signals, whether from a composite STL receiver or FM stereo encoder. Additionally, the DB4005 stores all measurement logs and data in internal memory, easily accessible via its built-in FTP system.
