Each of the eight internal processors can be deployed anywhere on your network. They provide complete AGC, EQ, compression, and limiting functions for up to eight separate stereo signals. This extensive capability makes the unit a perfect fit for a wide range of applications, including HD radio, streaming, and podcasting.

The Aura8-IP-3 Audio Processing BLADE-3 combines two of Wheatstone’s core technologies:

Deep Dive into the Aura8-IP-3 Architecture

Each processing chain in the Aura8-IP-3 features a robust signal path. First, audio passes through a 4-band parametric equalizer. Next, it moves through a crossover into three bands of compression. These compressors feed individual limiters, which then route to a broadband lookahead limiter for tight peak control.

Furthermore, the unit features flexible local I/O. It includes four stereo pairs of AES digital audio alongside four stereo pairs of analogue line-level audio. Because of this layout, the system functions flawlessly whether it operates independently or as part of a larger networked system. As a BLADE-3 device, you can quickly configure it into any new or existing WheatNet-IP network to extend your processing power instantly.

Intuitive Control with Audio Processing GURU®

You can easily configure and control the system via Ethernet using a laptop or desktop. To simplify setup, the unit comes with Wheatstone’s renowned Audio Processing GURU® software. This interface offers intuitive, user-friendly controls that allow you to get the system up and running in minutes.

However, if you require more advanced adjustments, you can switch to the GUI Pro interface. This professional tool provides expert-level access to every single processing parameter, giving you ultimate control over your sound.
