Drawing on years of expertise at the forefront of broadcasting technology, DEVA’s engineering team has developed a cutting-edge audio processing tool: the DB6400 FM and Digital Radio 4-Band Audio Processor.
The highly anticipated DB6400 features an ultra-low latency, DSP-based design that delivers unmatched sound quality. It includes a built-in IP Audio Player supporting both MP3 and PCM audio formats, as well as a fully dynamic RDS/RBDS encoder. The DB6400 also addresses the dead-air issue by automatically switching to a backup source and sending an email notification.
Equipped with a DSP-based Stereo Encoder, the DB6400 ensures precise MPX signal output, featuring advanced peak control and two independently configurable composite MPX outputs. This processor provides exceptional audio clarity regardless of source material. Its complete processing architecture includes a wideband AGC with Intelligent Gating, a 4-band Parametric EQ, advanced bass and treble controls, a 4-band high-quality sound processor with fidelity and impact controls, a 4-band limiter, FM limiter with advanced distortion and pre-emphasis control, and an HD Lookahead Limiter.
