The BTS-0080 Battery Temperature Sensor offers a cost-effective solution for monitoring battery temperature. It is equipped with a standard 4.5 m (15 feet) pigtail cable, simplifying connection to any Davicom I/O panel or board. This sensor operates within a temperature range of 0ºF to +300ºF and provides measurement accuracy of ±1ºF (±0.56ºC). The attachment hole for the sensor is 3/8”.
Featuring a linear scale factor of 10 mV/ºF, the BTS-0080 allows easy conversion of output voltages to either ºF or ºC using the following formulas:
• T (ºF) = Vout x 100
• T (ºC) = Vout x 55.56 – 17.78
For the Davicom DV line of Remote Monitoring Systems, the coefficients are as follows:
• Degrees Fahrenheit: A=0; B=100; C=0; D=0
• Degrees Celsius: A=0; B=55.56; C=-17.78; D=0
