The AVDT-BOB-ADE8IO is a compact, versatile Dante™ breakout box featuring 2 mic/line inputs, 2 line outputs (XLR), AES3 I/O, and 4 GPIOs on DSUB. Powered by an embedded Ultimo Dante processor, it supports up to 4 channels of Dante audio with full remote control and compatibility with Dante tools.
With premium analog mic preamps offering 60dB gain in 3dB steps and EIN as low as -125dBu, it delivers exceptional audio quality. A built-in DSP offers EQ, compression, high-pass filters, digital gain, and a flexible mixing matrix for seamless routing of analogue and Dante channels.
Driven by a dual-core ARM processor, the unit provides web-based remote control across all major platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux) via a modern HTML5/JavaScript interface.
An internal 5-port Gigabit switch enables low-latency operation, daisy-chaining, and flexible networking options including RJ45, SFP, or EtherCon (model dependent). The unit is powered via PoE (12W) or redundant 12V DC input.
Designed for expandability, the AVDT-BOB supports optional daughter boards for additional analog or digital I/O. Its robust aluminium housing features flexible mounting options, with kits available to rack up to three units into 1U for up to 12 mic/line inputs and 12 outputs.
